Mind the Gap

It's not a good visual novel because Leonel only touched my butt, he didn't spank me (it's humor). I LOVE THIS NOVEL, GOD, IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL THAT WHEN I FINISHED IT I HAD 3 HEART ATTACKS. NEXT CHAPTER PLEASE GIVE ME 3 MORE YEARS OF LIFE. But also take your time and there were many problems. I played it in Spanish, there were moments where some dialogues appeared in English, which complicated things a lot for me, but the rest is beautiful, keep going. 

I had played this game like 2 months ago and now I replayed just to listen to the VAs and it let me remember how much I had liked it the first time I played!!! I found it absolutely interesting, the premise is soo cool, really reminds me of Your Turn To Die but with something more that makes it stand out in a good way, but I don’t know how to explain it. The fact that all is happening in such tiny place really makes everything scarier and the characters are sooo interesting. And things like Deuce talking in plural when explaining what happened before arriving there, Naomi's insomnia, all of the Vir things, etc, etc. makes it super intriguing. Really cool stuff in general, can't wait to play more!!! Also amazing work from the VAs!! I love the voices choosed, it adds much emotion to everything. 

Its a long rant but I wanted to write something to appreciate all the hard work! <3

!! POSSIBLE SPOILERS, RANT INCOMING !!

at first i absolutely despised leonel but now hes unironically my favorite character, idek how it happened but it did :P (well, second favorite character, first favorite ofc being our beloved naomi ^^)

 i still dont trust Vir, idk just a gut feeling, like what he said when we confronted him makes sense n' it checks out- he wasnt violent or unreasonable, but somethings just not right about him, like i have this gut feeling hes bad news even if he portrays himself as the oh so reasonable one in the group... esp since after the confrontation he suddenly was more interactive with the group- i usually dont agree with felicia but i can understand why she reacted the way she did when he suddenly helped. hes a bit too calm considering the situation, if that makes sense- Naomi is relatively calm about the situation, but in an innocent or shy way, Vir is calm about the situation for seemingly no reason and thats just unsettling. this might be a huge stretch but i think hes just very skilled in manipulation and gaslighting, to the point where I the player and also the mc cant tell if hes in the right- seemingly trying to convince us that we're crazy.  i might just be paranoid though

i love the dynamic between felicia and saphira as well, its giving doomed perhaps toxic yuri, OR BOTH!! >:3/silly

also, honestly while i do understand keeping distance from deuce after they attacked us, i think they're not entirely unreasonable. overreactive? yes, but given the circumstances its a suprise no one else is terrified all the time. i also have a theory that deuce just overall is dealing with mental problems, maybe split personalities or anxiety? idk, they seem like a nice person when theyre not freaking out over dying, i wanna give them the benefit of the doubt

excited for more chapters to come out! the plot is really intriguing so far!! :3c

is this gender neutral? or is the mc male/female exclusively

yoooo i cannot believe i've found a game this good so randomly... seriously underrated.  i like the setting and the pacing a lot! i wonder if danganronpa inspired any part of this game haha,, i'm so sus of verity but it feels so unjustified rn so i feel bad www. assuming felicia isn't dying so soon, i'm looking forward to more of her character and how she develops! her and vir caught my attention hehe. much love to the VAs too!! <3 i'm also glad to hear this isn't romance heavy/focused and rather serves the story effectively than it being some sort of obligation and clouding some writing choices since it's part of a standard for a bunch of visual novels (and just media in general tbh) nowadays. anyways, thank you so much for the game so far!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a lot to say and this was amazing! The style of the game was hauntingly beautiful and tied up with the story it had me on edge from the very beginning.
The voice acting was paired so well with the characters they really did a great job, I especially loved Deuce the way his voice goes from scared to completely unhinged really freaked me out.   I am so looking forward to when Chapter 2 gets voice acted but if not, I am still gonna play it.

Dios, el juego estuvo buenísimo, me dejó sin palabras y enganchada por la trama, sin duda la mejor novela de ITCH.io.  Ojalá saquen más capítulos así de buenos, mientras tanto estaré al pendiente del misterio en la trama y sobre todo saber las razones de Vir ante todo, muchas gracias 💖

actually one of the best games I've played in itchio! I loved the horror atmosphere it actually scared me.., and I love Vir too can't wait for the next chapter

Es muy bueno, definitivamente ahora es de mis tops tres novelas visuales favoritas!! ;3 te hace pensar de una manera que los normales no, me encanta que sea de esa manera, adoro los juegos así de puzzles y para pensar

I didn't finish this game yet tho and yeah I know my type of humour is ass. Im really sorry for those who read my comment. 

This is really well-crafted and extremely interesting! I'm excited for more, and massive props for making this, it's no easy task and you've done it beautifully! Quick question, will there be options to choose your gender and the like? Or will the mc remain elusive in that regard? I think It could make for some interesting dialogue targeting and maybe even influence whomever we decide to romance (if it will be a possibility) or get close to and vice versa. Just a suggestion though. Other than that, congrats once more on making such an engrossing game, with such a deep theme, the swaying fickleness and finality of trust, makes you pay a hell of a lot more attention to the characters and surroundings. Hope all is well! <3

DEFINITIVAMENTE LO AMO, este juego merece muchísimo más reconocimiento! La historia es sumamente atractiva, te envuelve e incluso te hace pensar, no es el típico juego cliché, me encanta el ambiente que hace y los personajes tan variados.

Sinceramente me enamore completamente de Vir, es tan misterioso lindo y es tan hermoso como nos ayuda aunque todavía no sabemos bien pq.

Los dibujos son una obra de arte, definitivamente tienes mi apoyo con este proyecto !  Voy a dibujar a Vir y lo comentaré! También intentaré subir contenido mencionando el juego en tik tok aunque no sea de mucha ayuda me gustaría aportar. Sigue así por favor, no te rindas!

EU AMEI CADA SEGUNDO DESSA OBRA DE ARTE!!! Cara... simplesmente perfeito, cada personalidade dos personagens, a arte, os sons, a escrita tudo lindissimo e a história só em dois capítulos já me deixou super curiosa sobre tudo, muito ansiosa para os próximos capítulos!!!!

Gostei bastante do sistema de escolha sempre aparecer que tal personagem irá lembrar de tal ato, me lembra muito os jogos da Telltale e isso faz você ponderar mais sobre o cuidado que deve ter na hora de escolher. Além da dinâmica entre os personagens serem bem realistas, gostei bastante de como o grupo se comporta em algumas situações, por que eu consigo facilmente me ver fazendo algumas dessas coisas, então eu consigo me conectar por causa deles serem bem realistas.

Eu estou apaixonado pelos personagens (menos o Deuce e a dupla personalidade dele desculpe) acho que nem preciso dizer que gostei bastante do Vir, né? acho que todos nós concordamos nisso, o cara é misterioso e claramente está por detrás do que está acontecendo além de ser lindokkk.

 Mas a minha personagem favorita com certeza é a Naomi 💜ela não é uma criança clichê das tramas de terror, ela é composta, muito inteligente e perspicaz além de uma fofa, eu amei que o MC já tratou de adotar ela pro nosso lado porque se ele não fizesse eu faria essa escolha sem pensar duas vezes. 

Outro que despertou minha curiosidade sem dúvidas é o Stefan, ele me lembra muito o Keiji de Your Turn to Die tanto que eu achei que ele talvez fosse algum policial ou agente do FBI também, já que tirando o MC ele foi o único que notou que o Token da confiança era antigo (bem sus se você me perguntar kkkk)
